The Huntsville-Madison County Senior Center, Inc. was incorporated in 1974 when three organizations serving senior citizens were merged. The three former agencies were Huntsville Opportunity Program for the Elderly (HOPE), Fellowship Center, and Retired Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP).
Since the merge, the Senior Center has developed several Personal Enrichment Programs and Care Services including: Creative Skills, Education, Health, Recreation, Meals on Wheels, Nutrition Centers, and more!
