The Carnegie Visual Arts Center presents the 23nd annual exhibit Embracing Arts, A Coming Together of Amateur & Professional Artists from March 25th-May 10th, 2025.

All-day Open House and winners of the Embracing Art exhibit will be announced in the Gallery by Executive Director, Kim Mitchell at 12:15.
Artist Reception, Friday, March 28th, 6:00-7:30 pm
Join us for the Artists’ Reception of Embracing Art, A Coming Together of Amateur and Professional Artists. Members-FREE and Guests-$5. Appetizers and a cash bar will be available.
Embracing Art is an annual juried exhibit featuring works by North Alabama-connected artists and was the inaugural exhibit for the Carnegie Visual Arts Center in April 2003. The exhibit includes works in multiple media including pencil, watercolor, oil, acrylic, clay, and mixed media. The exhibiting artists are selected from their submitted applications including photographs of up to 3 pieces of their artwork.
