“Nature’s Canvas: A Celebration of Wildlife and Florals” by DeAnn Meely at HSV Airport

A reception for this exhibit, “Nature’s Canvas: A Celebration of Wildlife and Florals”, will be held at the HSV Airport (on level 2 above ticketing) on February 4th, from 5-7 pm. Live music & complimentary appetizers and beverages will be served.
DeAnn Meely is a renowned fine artist and art educator based in the historic downtown of Decatur, Alabama. Her studio and gallery, located at 708 1/2 Bank Street, serve as a vibrant hub for art lovers and collectors. As an Army wife, DeAnn has lived in various parts of the United States, providing her with rich and diverse experiences that deeply influence her art. Her background and life experiences inform her subject matter, which often explores the beauty of nature and the environment and the complexity of human emotions and relationships. Her favorite subjects to photograph and paint include birds of prey, sunrises, and sunsets. She often travels with “Big Bertha,” her telephoto lens, to capture the perfect shot, particularly along the Tennessee River.
