The time is here on Giving Tuesday to consider where to give back with year-end donations in your community. Because of the generosity of donors like you in 2021, the Carnegie Visual Arts Center was able to continue to keep its doors open and provide free art exhibits throughout the year, host two summer art camps for children, and hold numerous art workshops. Recently, local artists volunteered and helped us to have our first workshop with special needs adults. We have also partnered with other community organizations like the Decatur Youth Symphony, River Clay Fine Arts Foundation, and local schools to take art outside our walls by contributing supplies, providing volunteer art instructors, and lending space for exhibits.
Please help us to continue to promote our mission of passionately promoting art for all by donating to the Carnegie on Giving Tuesday. On November 30th, our staff will also be contacting our volunteers and donors to say a special word of appreciation to make sure they know it is just as important to give as it is to receive during this special time of year!
