Despite advances in instruments and methodology, our basic needs and desires continue to influence our use of myths.
New technology and online communication have given us even more tools to use in this market of misinformation.
It may be a truism, but what we believe colors our view and informs all of our stories.

Participating artists are members of the Alabama Women’s Caucus for Art (ALWCA). The organization is a national Women’s Caucus for Art chapter. Membership includes working and teaching artists, curators, gallery administrators, artisans, art-based business owners, scholars, and other creative professionals.
Their mission is to promote women in the visual arts through education, workshops on professional practices, peer mentoring, community activities, networking, and exhibition opportunities.
