JOEY HARTE SAYS GOODBYE picks up five years after the events depicted in that play. Six feisty ladies are reunited at the funeral of womanizer and abuser Joey Harte, where each comes to terms with her own trauma, inflicted by Joey. Though the underlying theme is poignant, one of survival of, and recovery from, abuse, JOEY HARTE SAYS GOODBYE leans heavily on the comedic. You will laugh. You might cry. You will definitely have a great time! Rated R for language and subject matter.
