Artists Reception for Rebecca Sower & Erin Clemmons

Join us on Friday, March 24th from 6:00-7:30 pm in the gallery to meet Rebecca Sower and Erin Clemmons as we celebrate their exhibit, “From Hand to Hand-Creativity as Legacy—Works by Mother and Daughter, Rebecca Sower & Erin Clemmons”

This exhibition features the artwork of this dynamic mother-daughter duo. Rebecca’s work is heavily influenced by the creative process of layering textiles and often shares the characteristics of quilting. Erin works in clay and creates pottery and sculpture. She has made her own way as an artist—building from the family legacy of creativity—oscillating between function and pure form, between the everyday object and the art piece.
