Susie grew up in coastal Alabama spending most of her time outdoors; crabbing off the pier, swimming in the lakes and ocean, bicycling around the town, and finding treasures at the city dump. Relocating to Huntsville, AL in 1969, she graduated from UAH and Al A&M. With a 40-year art career behind her, she creates mixed media work for sale, exhibitions, and interactive installations from her studio at Lowe Mill.
