American Girl Fashion Show

The American Girl Fashion Show will be held, Saturday, March 27th, 2010, at the Historic Princess Theatre on Second Avenue in Decatur, Alabama. The show is hosted by the Junior League of Morgan County, a group of women that has been serving this community for sixty-one years. This year’s show will benefit the Hand’s on Children’s Museum at the Carnegie Visual Arts Center, a new partnership between JLMC and the Carnegie.
There will be two shows, one at two o’clock, which will include a box lunch of delightful treats from local eateries. The six o’clock show will be a slumber party, guests are invited to wear their pj’s and come enjoy the fashion show. Pizza, popcorn and other yummy treats will be served. At both shows guests will receive a goody bag full of fun stuff from our sponsors, a delightful lunch/dinner, and yummy sweet treats. Guests are invited to bring their favorite American Girl doll to enjoy the show with you. We will also have a doll hair salon and nail salon for the girls. Some American Girl souvenirs will be available. There will be a raffle for quite a few fabulous American Girl prizes (including new dolls, Kit’s tree house, bitty-baby sets, twin sets, and more.)

Tickets are available at the Princess Theatre, you can go online to www.princesstheatre.org, call the box office 256.340.1778, or just stop by during business hours. Tickets are $26 a piece. Reserved seating

In addition to all the fun of the actual show we are also going to have a party room where you can have a small get together for a birthday party or just a party with friends. There will be a special meal served similar to what they do at the American Girl Café. Tables are $200 and can seat up to 8 girls.
