<p>Directly after Fri.@ 5 at 7:15 PM, downstairs at The Carnegie, Bobby Horton performs a musical telling of the connections between music and visual art. Bobby Horton is a multi-instrumentalist, composer, producer, and music historian. He has produced and performed music scores for ten PBS films by Ken Burns including “The Civil War, and “Baseball,” two films for The A&amp;E network, and sixteen films for The National Park Service. Since fall 2010, Bobby has been considering how to translate Alabama’s amazing tradition of folk art into sound and story. Bobby Horton: The Stories of Alabama Folk Art is the result of his study of the connections between music and visual art in Alabama. Because seating is limited, reservations are recommended by calling the Carnegie. $20 per person at the door. Snacks and beverages are included.</p>
