Embracing Art VII Call For Entries

Submission deadline: April 30, 2009.
This exciting show will be presented for the seventh year and features artists from the North Alabama area as well as other invited guests. An open call to artists invites those who work in all mediums to enter multiple pieces of art for consideration. Photography submissions will again be accepted for Embracing Art VII. Juried awards will be given for 1st, 2nd & 3rd place overall. Additional awards will include the Director’s Choice Award and possible purchase awards. The exhibit will be on display May 29 – June 27, 2009.
A special Embracing Art Junior category will be availble for high school students. To qualify for this category, students must be full-time students and aged 14 to 18 years. These entrants will be juried separately from the adult category and awards will be presented for Best in Show and up to three honorable mentions.
