Carnegie Visual Arts Center

Summer is cool at the Carnegie Visual Arts Center. Come see the exhibit, Legends in their Own Minds… at the Carnegie. Meet the artists and visit with friends. Appetizers will be provided by Mandy Backe, owner of Backe Door Gourmet Catering and complimentary beverages will be served. Redstone Federal Credit Union is this month’s Fri.@5 sponsor. In the Education Center, scratch block molds will be available for purchase and carving in anticipation of the upcoming Iron Pour Events on August 22 and 23 at the Carnegie Visual Arts Center’s 5th Annual Artists Sidewalk Sale.

You may also preview the Carnegie’s commerative 5th Anniversary book, Now You’re in the Picture: 5 Days & 50 Cameras, Celebrating 5 Years at the Carnegie. Orders will be accepted until August 15th.

Fri. @ 5 is a monthly member reception on the third Friday of each month. Fri. @ 5 is a member benefit for Carnegie members at the Family Level of giving and above. Members are welcome to bring guests for a suggested donation of $15 per guest. Attendees must be 21 years of age.
